Just think what this shot would have looked like if I had taken it with an IS lens, or just brought my $20 monopod. I think I am getting better at predicting cool moments in a show. If I had not moved, his face and the mic. stand would have been crisp and this would have gone from a cool picture to one of my best.
This is why the pros use the $2000 canon 70-200L IS for concerts.
Maybe someday.......
