A photo a day: #15 Tomatoes (5-1-08)


As you can see I am still working on a concept for "red". The this image is somewhere between split and short lighting. I bought a couple of 4o watt compact fluorescent bulbs for my Lowe's work light fixtures. They are a lot brighter than the previous ones. The incandescent equivalent would be about 200 watts each. I really need to find a good way to position my folding diffuser between my lights and my subject. In my opinion one of the worst things about this image is the double catch light. It just doesn't look natural.
