A photo a day: ON HOLD

Due to finals I am going to discontinue the "A photo a day" project for a week or so. In the mean time I will post as often as I can. I did decide to submit the tomatoes image to the TWIP "red" contest. I wanted to work on some other concepts but ran out of time. After looking at some of the other entries, I don't think I have chance.... But who knows....

I am thinking finals is a poor reason to break a pattern. Your photos could be "realistic". You know, no touch ups, no filtering. Just raw photography.

Just my thought.

Funny you say that, because I have actually been making an effort to do as little post processing as possible. With the exception of "Photo a day: 12" nothing in any of the other daily images was changed in software that I could not have changed on the camera. The beauty of using the software is that you can see it on a bigger screen. The kinds of things I changed were:

Exposure (Brightness)
Sharpness
White Balance
Noise reduction

By doing it this way I can spend more time learning lighting and composition. (Which is the real time eater....)

I can't wait to get some more outdoor time, and I also can't wait to take some portrait shots of Ryan. I am going to put together a post on the some of my ideas. They WILL be outdoor images... :)
